Ashburton Intermediate School
CT group was selected to provide communications services for a new technology block a new large open teaching block, refurbishment of the hall and enabling works to maintain schools network connectivity.
- Demolition works – Disconnection and relocation of existing fibre and voice connections to maintain the schools network and phone connectivity
- Installation of CAT6A FTP communications cabling
- Installation of communications cabinets
- Relocation of the schools main server communications cabinet
- Relocation of the schools incoming fibre connection
- Relocation / installation of the schools network switches / hardware and wireless access points
- New fibre & copper (voice) backbone cabling to the new technology block and open teaching block and all existing school blocks
- Communications testing and commissioning
All works completed by Ministry approved ICT contractors in line with ministry standards ICT cabling infrastructure policy version 5.
